Neckpiece: $1600 From time to time I offer a piece from my personal archive that has not previously been available. VIA LACTEA (THE MILKY-WAY) is a decade-old neckpiece, made near the end of my time living in the US, and corresponding to the beginning of my teaching workshops. The body of the piece is a sumptuous old velvet-covered metal bible slipcase, complete with ivory window insert. The open sides of the case have been glassed in, and half-hidden objects dart and roll inside, like faces behind a twilight trellis.
